In this weeks lesson we
interrogated exactly what was on the brief to get a clear understanding on the
tasks we are meant to complete from our agencies. A critical understanding was to
embed the 4 P’s for pitching: personality, persuasion, passion and performance.
We also received our
feedback from our pitches on what went well and what needed to be improved.
Why did we
do well?
-
We had shown passion and great understanding for our brief.
-
Good team skills.
-
Knowledge and good/reasonable amount content on the slides.
-
Good thoughts and responses to questions.
What
could be improved?
-
More Visuals on the slides.
-
Clear information.
-
Improve time management on uploading to the pitch to Moodle.
-
We were maybe sometimes too ambitious.
-
Talk more to the audience and less screen reading.
After analysing our
strengths and weaknesses on the presentation we planned what
questions to ask our client.
These included questions, such as how do they currently engage with their
audience and the budget for this project we needed to consider. Along with this
I completed my personal development plan that will enable me to view any
improvements I’ve made from the beginning of the year compared to the end of
the year.
